Individual arrival - Afternoon at leisure. Maybe spend the afternoon to visit some of the sights in Oslo like; Vigeland Sculpture Park and the famous Viking Museums on Bygdøy or our new Opera House! Overnight and breakfast at Thon Hotel Opera (or similar).
Oslo - Myrdal - Flåm
Breakfast at the hotel before your early morning train departure from Oslo S Centralstation located next to the Thon Hotel Opera - a short walking distance!
Train from Oslo to Myrdal on the Bergen Line, departure in the morning at 08.11 and arrive in the early afternoon in Flåm at 14.25.
The Bergen train will take you from Oslo, over the mountain passing Geilo and Finse, onwards to Myrdal. In Myrdal you will change to the famous Flåmsbanen.
This train journey provides some of Norway’s wildest and most magnificent scenery. On the 20 km-long train ride you can see rivers that cut through deep ravines, waterfalls cascade down the side of steep, snow-capped mountains and mountain farms cling dizzily to sheer slopes.
Arrive in Flåm and self-transfer from the railway to the hotel located a short walk from the railway and check in for overnight.

Flåm - Balestrand
Breakfast at your hotel before you spend some time in the little village of Flåm, perhaps take a walk by the fjord before departure in the afternoon? Visit the Flåm railway Museum or the Flåm Panorama?
In the afternoon depart by boat at 15.30 from Flåm to Balestrand where you arrive at 16.55 - the rest of the day at leisure. Express boat from Flåm to Balestrand on the King of fjords: the Sognefjord.On this fjordcruise on the mighty Sognefjord you will see tall, impressive mountains along the Aurlandsfjord. Out towards the sea, the scenery becomes more open and there is a teeming and varied bird life. The Sognefjord is Norway’s deepest (1.309 m) and longest (204 km) fjord.
Arrival Balestrand and self-transfer from the pier to the hotel, a short walk from the boat.
Dinner, overnight and breakfast at Kvikne’s Hotel.
Balestrand - Bergen
Breakfast before departure – boat departs from the same pier where you arrived!
Early morning boat at 07.50 from Balestrand to Bergen on the Sognefjord. If you want to spend the day in Balestrand you can also choose to depart at 16.55 from Balestrand and arrive Bergen in the evening at 20.40 (on Sundays - only afternoon departure available).
When you arrive Bergen, make sure you visit the Fishmarket, Troldhaugen (where the world famous composer Edward Grieg lived) and Fløibanen. Spend the evening to stroll along the famous old wooden buildings along the harbor front in Bergen. Overnight and breakfast at Augustin Hotel (or similar).
